  • Foldcote: It is a form of paperboard that is coated on one side and has a non-coated, white paper backing. It has a smoother feel than clay-coated paper and is commonly used for high-end packaging such as food and medical products.

  • Claycoat: This type of paperboard is coated on one side but has a rough, gray look on the other side. It is a cheaper alternative to foldcote paper, but the finish is less smooth on the backside. It is widely utilized in packaging applications when premium finishing is not required.
